MC Fava already started his career back in 2001 when he was responsible for the Jungle Club events in his hometown Freiburg. He is a chameleon on the Mic – capable of hosting all styles of Drum & Bass but certainly feels most comfortable if more melodic sounds leave him space to fully develop his vocal range that varies from deep rhymes over singing phrases to crowd hyping chants. Throughout the years, MC Fava started to tour Europe, his musical talent allowed for him to perform in various countries, and through this he achieved performances on each continent.

MC Fava is thought to be the first non UK MC to have been on the microphone at the world famous Fabric Club in London. He remains the only German Drum & Bass MC who regularly performs in the United Kingdom, the motherland of this music genre. Fava slowly drew the attention of many promoters and also booking agencies – one of them: Clinic Talent, the artist agency of Hospital Records, one of the most famous Drum & Bass record labels worldwide. In 2015 Fava exclusively joined Clinic Talent who then were responsible for organizing his numerous shows each year.

He has been showcasing his passion and love for music on performances throughout the whole of Europe, touring Australia and New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, South Africa, India, Colombia and the United States. Fava hosted stages of the biggest festivals in the scene like Let it Roll in Czech Republic, Global Gathering in South Korea, Outlook Festival in Croatia, Balaton Sound in Hungary, Mysteryland and Liqucitiy in the Netherlands, the Street Parade in Switzerland, Pohoda Festival in Slovakia, Kendal Calling in the UK, Sonne Mond und Sterne Festival in Germany or Sun and Bass on Sardinia.

Fava´s extraordinarily sensible feeling for rhythm and melody made him one of the most demanded MCs in the scene. Although he is a non-native speaker, he annually has been nominated for an international music award since 2014, being among the Top 10 Drum & Bass MCs worldwide in the Drum & Bass Arena Awards, London. In 2021 the Drum & Bass awards Germany got installed and Fava instantly won the ´Best MC´ category in 2021 & 2022. In 2023 he was honored with 5 awards altogether including ´Best MC´, ´Best Album´ & ´Best EP´.

Fava is not only a much appreciated host for his live events, he rapidly became one of the go-to artists for quality vocal delivery as well. His voice enriches approximately 150 songs that got released on some the most respected labels in the scene like Hospital Records, Med School, V Recordings, Spearhead Records, Commercial Suicide and Fokuz Recordings. In 2017, Hospital Records released the live recording of the London Elektricity Big Band show at the Pohoda Festival, Slovakia´s biggest music festival. MC Fava is featured on the recording hosting a 22 piece live band. In February 2019 he released his debut EP on the famous British label Spearhead Records. 2022 saw the release of his first solo EP on the legendary ´V Recordings´ in the UK and an EP on his own label ´Beatalistics´. His long awaited 16 song strong debut album LIFETRACKS on Sun and Bass Recordings finally landed in May 2023, causing turbulence in the scene and gaining recognition on a global level. With loads of new music on the horizon, Fava started to bring his brand new Live-Show around the globe. The ´Lifetracks-Album-World-Tour´ started in December 2022 with stops in Thailand and Vietnam. 2023 kicked off with an extended South-America tour, stopping in Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Mexico. His long awaited return to North-America had a full impact with 2 successful tours in March and June. Back home in Europe, a busy summer with the biggest festivals and plenty of high quality club shows rounded up a fantastic year 2023. Now Fava is keen to work on new projects, so expect more shows and music by the hopeless romantic German vocalist soon.
