Time to take a peek inside the Many Minds of Multi. Layers on layers, styles on styles, roles on roles. Do you know how deep this rabbit hole goes?
An MC, producer and DJ born and raised in everyone’s favourite city of sin, Amsterdam, Multiplex MC was carved into existence from a culture of metal bands and illegal squat parties. He now translates that atavistic energy in a multitude of mindful ways…
For mainstage festival tornados Killer Hertz he’s the theatrical ring-leading frontman capable of whipping crowds of thousands into frenzies with punk energy. For Ancient Radius, he’s one of three greasy producer cogs in a sleazy, grunting, shifting halftime machine. For influential Dutch bass institutions Korsakov, Cheeky Mondays, Blackout and WTF, he’s the quintessential resident MC, the consummate host who knows exactly what the crowd and music need as he guides you through the night, tailoring his style to any DJ he’s paired with.
For life he is one of the most multi-faceted, versatile vocalists in the bass game. Flexing from jungle to techno via ska, punk and metal with premium positivity, he’s a frequency finder committed to the rhythm. A host, a toaster, a lyricist, a hype man, a singer; he will enhance your dance and has commended crowds as large as 25,000 with Killer Hertz at Beats For Love, Czechia and 85,000 at Dominator Festival, Holland.
As well as his four residencies at the most important bass nights in The Netherlands, he’s also the MC of choice for drum & bass titans Black Sun Empire, renowned Italian hardcore DJ Noize Suppressor and legendary Scottish crew Electrikal Soundsystem. Holding it down like a granite anchor, he’s now developing an equally strong body of work as a recording artist. As well as recording with Killer Hertz, he’s collaborated with AKOV, Saxxon, Black Sun Empire and Noize Suppressor. More will join that list as time goes by. Still scratching the surface, still settling into his role as a prominent and influential ambassador for Dutch MC culture, still stacking a whole lot of new projects and ideas… Many more layers, styles and roles will be revealed as we continue to peek deeper and deeper into rabbit hole.
